GoFlushless saves not only a lot of increasingly scarce pure water but also a lot of increasingly expensive and polluting electricity to pump and purify the water and to then treat the resulting wastewater! And it takes a lot of water just to generate that electricity.

This is true not only in urban areas but in rural areas, as well.

We’re talking about almost 3,000,000 watts of electricity on average to pump and purify and then treat a million gallons of water – which requires about 3,000 pounds of coal -- or about 700 gallons of fuel oil -- or almost 9,000 cubic feet of natural gas – just to generate the required electricity – and, furthermore, if you want more statistics, a thousand watts of electricity requires 30 gallons of that increasingly scarce water if coal or fuel oil are used – or 14 gallons of water if gas is used.

A million gallons of purified, clean water therefore requires on average about 85,000 gallons of water for electricity generated by coal or oil -- or about 38,000 gallons if generated by gas.

And all that is in addition to polluting and warming our air and water at our power plants where we burn increasingly scarce fossil fuels.

GoFlushless is thus saving our planet for future generations in many direct and indirect ways. What are we waiting for? You and I can make a difference – now!
